Gymnastics and Circus Classes
Destination Art Beginner Circus Class Ages 6 - 9 years old
Geared toward 6 - 9 year olds, this class continues to introduce children in more depth to circus arts and creative movement. Fun activities are jointed with circus skills such as aerial silks/tissu, aerial hammock, aerial hoop, juggling, physical theater, handbalancing, acrobatics, and clowning! Skills developed include coordination, confidence, balance, strength, and stage presence. The class will culminate in an informal circus show based on a fun theme curated by the kids and instructor for parents and friends to attend.
Tuesdays 6:15 - 7:15 at 2125 Powell Street
Destination Art Intermediate Circus Class Ages 8 - 13 years old
Geared toward 8 - 13 year olds and advanced students who have previously taken the beginner class. Students will learn more advanced tricks and sequencing and act development on aerial silks/tissu, aerial hammock, aerial hoop, juggling, physical theater, handbalancing, acrobatics, and clowning! Skills developed include coordination, confidence, balance, strength, and stage presence. The class will culminate in an informal circus show based on a fun theme curated by the kids and instructor for parents and friends to attend.

Preschool Creative Movement Class Ages 2-5 years old
Preschool Movement Class teaches motor skills, coordination, strength and flexibility. This class combines gymnastics, dance, circus, juggling, and improvisation to teach motor skill development and pathways of movement. Preschoolers will build confidence and social skills through games, music, and storytelling. This is a great class for younger preschoolers and large groups!
Class time 30 - 45 min once a week/ bi-monthly/monthly
Circus Adventures Tots Class Ages 3 - 5 years old
The class provides 3 - 5 year olds an introduction to circus arts and creative movement. Fun activities, games, music and storytelling combined with circus skills such as juggling, physical theater, handbalancing, acrobatics, clowning, and depending on your space even aerial arts*! Kids will work on developing motor skills, coordination, confidence, balance, strength, and stage presence. These youngsters will have a blast on their circus adventure!
**Space requirements for aerial arts include at least 12 foot ceilings and a secure aerial point or overhead beam, and ladder or rigging system. Contact me for more info on how to offer aerial arts in your school today.

Preschool FUNTASTIC Gymnastics Class Ages 3-5 years old
For 3 year olds who are ready to explore the world of gymnastics on their own! Age appropriate activities teach gymnastics and movement skills while building strength and coordination. Games, music and storytelling make this class nothing but fun for your 3 year old! We use portable, preschool -size equipment to teach the basics of tumbling, balance beam, bars and vault. Basic trampoline skills and safety are taught on mini-trampolines.
Class time 45 min once a week
Elementary FUNTASTIC Gymnastics Class Ages 6 - 8 years old
An entry level class that teaches basic skills and challenges elementary students with new skills. Basic skills taught include cartwheels, handstands, rolls, vaults, bar skills, beam skills, and trampoline safety and skills. We use portable kid - size equipment to give your child an introductions to the fundamentals of gymnastics. Skills are taught in a fun and encouraging environment! Fun, friends, and fitness!
Class time 1 hour once a week/ bi-monthly/monthly
Acrobatics and Tumbling Class Ages 6 - 10 years old
From rolls to cartwheels and backhand springs, this class combines gymnastics tumbling skills and circus acrobatics and partner acrobatics. Skills are taught in a fun and encouraging environment! We have everything you need to flip and fly; plus Fun, Friends, and Fitness!
Class time 1 hour once a week
Teens Acrobatics and Tumbling Class Ages 9 - 16 years old
From rolls to cartwheels and back handsprings, this class combines gymnastics tumbling skills and circus acrobatics and partner acrobatics. This class is an introduction to the fundamentals of tumbling and through skill dissection and proper progressions we will move from beginner to more advanced gymnastics tumbling skills, circus acrobatics, and partnering balance and dynamic exercises. Skills are taught in a fun and encouraging environment! All levels welcome.
Class time 1 hour and 15 minutes once a week
Parkour Fun and Safety Ages 5 - 9 years old
This class is an introductory parkour class for boys and girls ages 5 - 9 years old. Participants will learn the vocabulary and skills vital to parkour. The focus in Parkour Fun and Safety is learning basic parkour movements, motor skills, quadrapedal skills, overcoming obstacles, and moving through space in the most efficient way possible. Safety while landing, jumping, rolling, and dropping are an important focus in the class and paramount to creating a safe parkour environment. All classes involve a warm-up, basic skills overview, skill achievement section, and an obstacle course. All levels welcome.
Class time 1 hour and 15 minutes once a week
Adult FREE Circus Jam!!!
This is a Free Circus jam and skill share session for ages 16 and up to get together and practice different circus arts in a embracing environment. Aerial tissu / silks / lyra / contortion / acrobatics / partner acro / and aerial yoga are a few of the things you might come across at a jam.

Respect the Space and Leave no Trace - After a great time of fun, playing and doing things you didn’t think were possible, it’s like icing on the cake to leave the class/jam area clean, wonderful looking, and, when appropriate, to leave a donation. It’s wonderful to be given permission to use the spaces we get to for classes/jams, so we try our best to make our appreciation tangible.
